  6. No matter - Caprock Canyons packs a big nature, outdoors and wildlife punch. In our 3 days visiting the park we conservatively saw close to 100 bison, dozens of prairie dogs, crazy aggressive cliff-swallows, dozens of roadrunners, a baby owl and a few snakes.
