Dec 20, 2023 · FINALLY THOUGHTS. Original X-Men #1 was pretty wild and crammed a ton into a reasonable-sized package. The story was clever and the way Gage gets fans reinvested into the characters so quickly is commendable. Plus, the villain and who they need to confront was rather creative. Furthermore, the illustrations were incredibly impressive.
