  4. Hip hop has been pretty big since the late 80s, I grew up with my parents music but was well aware of the popular hip hop artists of the time and could appreciate the music. You can like artists like Mobb Deep and Nas without liking Lil Pump and 6ixx 9ine, I am not really sure how either of those guys got popular.
