I guess that feeling derives from the changes in the direction of making R&C music "less prominent", and David Bergeaud's work also suffered from this. Of course, there are good tracks in the most recent games also, as you guys said (Ardolis 2 being one of them, but, again, apparently that was also David Bergeaud).
