Escape Rooms booked Friday evenings, Sat and Sun also require a minimum of 4 people which meant I had to purchase 4 spots for the 3 of us. I called before booking to see which room was recommended for 6th graders and they told me to book The Theater. And so I did. It was my first Escape Room in many years and a lot of fun.

The second thing is the noise from the mall. The roof of the location is completely open, so you can hear the mall music and crowds talking from outside the room. It definitely lessened the experience of being in a prison. If the post-game experience and mall noise were taken care of, I would say this is the definition of a perfect escape room.

Dont believe the 10/10 or the 1/10 reviews. This movie falls almost squarely in the middle. The premise is essentially a PG-13 Saw movie with multiple puzzle rooms for the protagonists to escape (rather than torture devices). There are some really great set pieces, tense moments, and decent acting throughout.
