Mean Johnny Barrows is a decent-ish reflection on the ways in which we turned our backs on Vietnam vets but the message doesn't always translate into material that is entertaining in some way. I still overall enjoyed it because it flowed well and features some of the more fun trappings of blaxploitation, with the final act being the best part.
