Sep 4, 2015 · For those who ever wondered what it would be like to see John Cusack and Jackie Chan engage in a swordfight (both of you), here is "Dragon Blade." As an added bonus, we also get to witness Chan battle Adrien Brody in a bloody, no-holds-barred clash for an entire nation's fate.
I hereby award Dragon Blade the highest honour, that of 1 star. It is a timeless awful film, featuring all the necessary tropes to place it up there with the worst of them: a hideous child actor, awkward emotional bits, wooden and sometimes barely articulated performances, a script so dire it could rust a golden globe at 90 paces, and the inexplicable involvement of Oscar-winning actors.
