You can find a variety of different tabs on your Dashboard that you can scroll for different experiences. You can choose from: Following - The Dashboard you know and love, featuring posts from the blogs you follow, and any extras you may have included in your Dashboard preferences.
Tumblr. Pure effervescent enrichment. Old internet energy. Home of the Reblogs. All the art you never knew you needed. All the fandoms you could wish for. Enough memes to knock out a moderately-sized mammal. Add to it or simply scroll through and soak it up.
On web, you can find your Dashboard Preferences at tumblr.com/settings/dashboard. On mobile, tap the account icon, then tap “General settings” (iOS) or “Account settings” (Android) then tap “Dashboard preferences”. You can read about every option found here in this Help Center article.

On web, head to your dashboard settings or: Click on “Settings” (the gear icon) from the left side menu. Select “Dashboard” from the right side menu. Turn off “Best stuff first.”. Turning off “Best Stuff First” will also remove “Since you’ve been gone” posts from your “Following” tab.
Your blog’s appearance determines how it will look on the Tumblr dashboard, in the mobile apps, in search results, and at its web address (like www.tumblr.com/staff) using a desktop or mobile web browser.
From the dashboard, you can put your cursor in the search field. Doing so will reveal a dropdown with your followed tags. Check out our article about following tags here. Type the word or phrase you’d like to browse and you’ll see the options in the dropdown change.
Blog View. In this guide. Search and post filtering. Other options. All Tumblr blogs can be viewed without leaving the dashboard using the blog view. To view a blog, click on an avatar and view it in the center of the screen. To return to the dashboard, click the X at the top of the screen.
