To receive financial aid during Summer Session, you must meet all of the following requirements: Be a continuing UCI student. Complete a 2023-2024 FAFSA or California Dream Act Application by June 30, 2024. Be in good academic status. Complete a Summer Session Financial Aid Application by following the instructions in the How to Apply section.
International students continuing their studies at a UC campus, or newly admitted for the fall are welcome to attend Summer Session. For registration procedures and fees, simply follow the instructions for UC students. Enroll online or submit an enrollment form.
Summer Session is a period of time in between the Spring and Fall Quarters where you are able to take courses to fulfill your major, minor, or General Education requirements. Note that not all classes are offered over the summer, but it is a good opportunity to take courses outside of the regular school year.
Get ahead and graduate sooner with Summer Session. Summer Session is open to everyone. You are encouraged to enroll early, as enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration in Summer Session is a separate and different procedure from admission to fall, winter, or spring quarters of University of California, Irvine.
