Jun 13, 2018 · It seems there’s no way to edit the entry as such but will allow you to remove the ‘home’ or delete entirely. You’d then have to set up your current address as ‘home’. Give Microsoft feedback on this by pressing Ctrl + F to open the feedback app. Virginia - Time Lady.

Jan 6, 2023 · For at least TWO YEARS the Maps app has been exhibiting this behavior on my PC: type in a known address, and the App reports that the address cannot be located. Workaround: use the "Directions" function to produce directions from your current location to the typed in destination. Works every time.

Aug 30, 2015 · After the Windows 10 upgrade, the maps app mostly doesn't work. It sometimes can show the surrounding location, but usually can't find a new location. It tries for a couple of minutes, then says "try connecting to the internet." I'm certainly already connected to the internet. Several of the control buttons don't do anything.

Hopefully it will show your ACTUAL location - if not, you need to update your default location - Press "Default Location" and set it correctly. Turn your wifi adaptor back on. Go back into Maps and press the "Show my location" button.
Nov 25, 2015 · Microsoft are also missing a major opportunity by not making the GPS Receiver in their Band 2 compatible with Windows 10 tablets and laptops. This would enable those who have such hardware that's missing GPS Receiver hardware (even the premium Surface models come to mind) to at last fully utilise Microsoft Maps. DG.
