Jan 15, 2023 · Once there it will tell you what BIOS the system needs to run correctly. As an example Play! doesn't need an external PS2 BIOS to work. PCSX2 needs a PCSX BIOS folder. The Core Info section says to visit this link for more information. Most emulators that require a BIOS will usually say (!)
PS2 BIOS files? Question. Sold my PS2 a few years back, never thought I'd need it again. Anyone know a way to get the BIOS files online maybe? Needed for PCSX2.
Dec 22, 2021 · Unzip it and put it in a folder named "bios". Then put that folder inside of the pcsx2 folder. Start the emu, go to the configuration settings and select plugin/bios selector. Select "Bios" and then select the one to use (Use the latest version). Apply and you're all set.

For maximum compatibility it is recommended that you use a BIOS image different than SCPH10000.BIN which is the oldest one. That's because with this BIOS there are problems in memory card emulation and in other sections.
May 18, 2020 · nice post. That site is very fishy (and possibly phishy), and unlike what the website says im 95% sure its not related to the emulator in the slightest. Feb 11, 2023 · While there might be legit download links it's best to avoid them. Use https://www.reddit.com/r/Roms/comments/m59zx3/roms_megathread_40_html_edition_2021/ for legit downloads. In addition, none of their roms are verified, so you may encounter issues created from the scraping of roms, or bad dumps. Use at your own risk.
