The Tick is a nigh-invulnerable superhero in a blue tick suit who arrives in the City to help battle crime and uncover the mysterious figure behind the City's underworld. He befriends a nervous and mild-mannered young man named Arthur, who becomes his sidekick.
The Tick is a superhero created by cartoonist Ben Edlund [1] in 1986 as a newsletter mascot for the New England Comics chain of Boston-area comic book stores. The character is a parody of American comic book superheroes.
