Torrey Pines High School is a high school in the North County Coastal area of San Diego, California. The school is named after the Torrey pine tree that grows in the area.
Torrey Pines High School (TPHS) is rooted in a tradition of excellence, and we are proud of its consistently rigorous and challenging curriculum. Today we offer more class choices than ever before while making certain that all students have an equal opportunity to succeed.
TPHS provides a wide variety of yearlong course offerings for students at every academic level through an in person learning model. Students can take up to 7 classes per year, but we encourage students to take 6 classes a year so they can better balance their demands outside the school day.
