Tom Koch is an American news anchor who has anchored the top-rated ABC13 morning news show for nearly 30 years, as well as anchored the top-rated 4 p.m. news for eight years. Prior to joining ABC13, he was an anchor and reporter at WAEO-TV in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, and WBAY-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Koch attended the University of Wisconsin where he majored in communications and business. He started his broadcast career in college by hosting a weekly television show, and his first TV interview was with musician Charlie Daniels.
Koch joined KTRK-TV in 1982 as a reporter and became a morning news anchor in 1987. He has extensive experience telling thousands of stories from near and far.
