Completely different. Characters, layouts, storyboards, voice acting… A whole new world. When I first met with Hanna-Barbera’s senior staff –veterans all– I told them the truth.

While working with animation impresario Fred Seibert, the pair combined Larry’s idea, about a boy with magic chalk, and Bill’s idea about an entire other world hiding behind chalkboards.
