Paul Barrosse was born in 1958 and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Cleveland Central Catholic High School where he made his directorial debut in the 1976 Catholic Theatre Conference One Act Festival with The Dumbwaiter, a one-act play by Harold Pinter.
The show stars Barrosse, Victoria Zielinski, and Dana Olsen — backed by a jazz quartet led by the PTC’s longtime musical director Steve Rashid. Adding to the fun are vocalist Ms. Maura and veteran stand-up comedian Emilia Barrosse, whose TV writing credits include HBO’s “VEEP” and TruTV’s “Tacoma F.D.”

Dec 27, 2022 · Practical Theatre Company co-founder Paul Barrosse and cast member Victoria Zielinski, now married, moved to Evanston from Los Angeles last summer, affording them proximity to family (Zielinski is from Beverly) and to Dana Olsen, their creative collaborator rounding out the trio.
