Thomas Grey, 1st Marquess of Dorset, 1st Earl of Huntingdon, 7th Baron Ferrers of Groby, KG (1455 – 20 September 1501) was an English nobleman, courtier and the eldest son of Elizabeth Woodville and her first husband Sir John Grey of Groby.

His rise through the aristocracy was meteoric and by the age of twenty he was a Marquess and a member of the King’s Council. This status placed him below only a Duke so he was able, with his mother, to strongly influence the Council after Edward IV’s death (April 1483).

Grey was the third son and heir of Thomas Grey, 1st Marquess of Dorset (1455–1501), at that time England's only marquess, and his wife, Cecily Bonville, the daughter and heiress of William Bonville, 6th Baron Harington of Aldingham.
