Kevin Smith is an American screenwriter, actor, film producer, and director. He came to prominence with the low-budget comedy Clerks (1994), in which he appeared as the character Silent Bob.
Kevin Smith was a New Zealand-born actor who played Ares in several TV shows, including Hercules and Xena. He also had a band called The Wide Lapels and died in a fall on the set of a movie in 2002.
