    Dennis McNicholas (born April 7, 1972) is an American writer and producer on Saturday Night Live. He was initially a writer on the show from 1995 to 2004, leaving the show after nine years. He had a stint as head writer from 2001 until his initial departure in 2004.

    He returned to the show more than 10 years later in, with-in the first-half of season 40 2014, and has been credited as a Weekend Update writer since 2017.
