Robert Allen Griese ( / ˈɡriːsi / GREE-see; born February 3, 1945) is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback for the Miami Dolphins of the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL).
Bob Griese was a two-time All-America at Purdue and a leader of the Dolphins' ball-control offense that won two Super Bowls. He played 14 seasons in the NFL, completing 1,926 passes for 25,092 yards and 192 touchdowns.
