The lift-served vertical drop of Mount Mansfield is 2,360 feet (719 m), the fifth largest in New England and the fourth largest in Vermont.
We were staying at the incredible Green Mountain Inn about 8 miles south in Stowe and decided to check the resort out. The lodge is impressive with restaurant, bar, great lobby, pool, great views and off-site properties also. We took the gondola across the property and had magnificent views of Mt.Mansfield.
