Gantry Plaza State Park is a 12-acre (4.9 ha) state park on the East River in the Hunters Point section of Long Island City, in the New York City borough of Queens. The park is located in a former dockyard and manufacturing district, and includes remnants of facilities from the area's past.
Gantry Plaza is the central part of Gantry Plaza State Park. It is a nicely designed area at the front of the Park. At the heart of the plaza stand a massive pair of restored Gantries. You cannot help but admire the two industrial structures that loom over you and gave the park its name.

Park offers fantastic views of Midtown Manhattan that you simply cannot miss. The walking course takes about 45 minutes and follows the East River waterfront. The park also includes the famous Pepsi neon sign as well the Long Island Ferry dock sign.
