Astoria Park is a 59.96-acre (24.26 ha) public park in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens in New York City. The park is situated on the eastern shore of the Hell Gate , a strait of the East River , between Ditmars Boulevard to the north and Hoyt Avenue to the south.

Astoria Park, on the west shore of Queens, extends from south of the Triborough Bridge to north of the Hell Gate Bridge. With a panoramic view of the skyscrapers of midtown Manhattan in the south to the Hell Gate channel in the north, the scenery presents the diverse landscape of New York City.
Situated on nearly 60 acres, there is something for everyone to discover and love about Astoria Park! Notable attractions include New York City's oldest and largest swimming pool, a running track, a bocce court, fourteen tennis courts, a childrens playgrounds, and a skatepark.

Astoria park is a year round park. It has an Olympic size public pool, tennis courts, children playground, basketball court, run/walk track, restrooms and a parking area. There is a bicycle lane and nice paved walking paths around the park.

Astoria Park is one of the best parts about living in Astoria. The views are beautiful, it's spacious and features amenities like bathrooms, a running track, a skate park, and a pool in the summer. I love coming here to see fireworks around 4th of July, watching the free movies in the park and listening to live music.
