If you are anywhere near Dubuque, IA visit the Mines of Spain Recreational Area. The founder of Dubuque, Julian Dubuque has a grave site tower that overlooks the Mississippi river. It took a minute to find it, but worth it. The hike thru Horseshoe Bluffs is awesome.
