The Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph was constructed in 1877 on the site of former basilicas that were damaged by earthquakes or fire. This 5th reincarnation is a California Historical Landmark, and welcomes visitors each year to witness the beauty of the church with it's majestic domes and 39 exquisite stained glass windows.
