   Is Grand Isle a good movie?

   • Far stronger on atmosphere than actual suspense, Grand Isle plods along in tedious fashion, not helped by its awkward framing device that gives it the feel of a Southern fried police procedural. It is disappointing that this flimsy B-movie isn't better, because once it sets up its formulaic plot, it could have been both naughty and wild.

   Is Grand Isle the worst movie with Nicolas Cage?

   • Grand Isle is interesting, a story with some suspense and decent acting from the whole cast. It all begins promising and that remains like that for most of the movie but towards the end it feels a bit unfinished and stupid.
