Myopic, awkward Alice (Miriam Yeung) writes for a women's magazine whose staff is being combined with that of a men's magazine. In the new office environment, she meets Ryan (Louis Koo), a dreamy coworker prone to fainting spells. The two strike up a friendship and Alice coaches Ryan on how best to woo the powerful editor Michelle (Flora Chan).
