Sword of Sherwood Forest is a 1960 British Eastman Color adventure film in MegaScope directed by Terence Fisher and starring Richard Greene, Peter Cushing, Niall MacGinnis and Sarah Branch. [2] Greene reprises the role of Robin Hood, which he played in The Adventures of Robin Hood TV series 1955–1959.
In Sherwood Forest, Robin Hood and his band of outlaws continue to oppose the rule of the tyrannical Sheriff of Nottingham. One day a wounded traveler rides into the outlaw camp and before dying whispers something about danger in the town of Bawtry.

Synopsis. The Sheriff of Nottingham's men pursue a man [Desmond Llewelyn] on horseback through the woods. He possesses a gold emblem of a falcon. They wound him but are stopped by Robin Hood [Richard Greene]. He eventually falls off his horse near a river where he is found by Robin and his men Roger [James Neylin] and Little John [Nigel Green].
