Sep 24, 2021 · The Starling: Directed by Theodore Melfi. With Melissa McCarthy, Chris O'Dowd, Kevin Kline, Timothy Olyphant. After Lilly suffers a loss, a combative Starling takes nest beside her quiet home. The feisty bird taunts and attacks the grief-stricken Lilly.
McCarthy and her husband experience great loss and are on journeys to find themselves and each other again. And even though The Starling is chocked full of not so subtle symbolism and typical drama, it's still a well-acted, solid story. 9 out of 11 found this helpful.
