Neil Citron is a Toronto-born Canadian guitarist, Grammy Award-winning recording engineer, and songwriter who has played with Lana Lane, and briefly with heavy metal band Quiet Riot in 2006, among numerous other music industry credits.
After building a portable recording rig for Steve and recording his year long tour, Neil recorded the "Live at the Astoria” album, which earned him a Platinum record. Neil is well versed in recording multiple genre’s including Acoustic, Metal, Rhythm and Blues, Folk, and Hip Hop.
Grammy Winning Recording & Mixing Engineer. Neil has mixed and mastered soundtracks and or composed music for films such as "Ricky and The Flash", "Catch Me If You Can", "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 1 & 2", and films by Jonathan Demme, Tom Hanks-Playtone, Dino Di Laurentiis and Oprah Winfrey.

Citron’s role as music director for the film grew to encompass many different tasks, the first of which was to teach Streep how to play guitar. She’d had a few prior guitar lessons, including a lesson on distortion from Neil Young, but if she was going to be believable as a professional rocker there was a lot to learn, explains Citron.
