Otto III (c. 1265 – 25 May 1310), a member of the House of Gorizia (Meinhardiner dynasty), was Duke of Carinthia and Count of Tyrol from 1295 until his death. He ruled jointly with his younger brothers Louis and Henry VI.

Origin- Otto was the son of Duke Meinhard II and Elisabeth of Bavaria. He succeeded his father in his offices after his death in 1295, together with his brothers Albert, Ludwig and Heinrich.

Jan 1, 1991 · Otto III was crowned King of Germany at the age of three in Aachen on Christmas Eve 983 and died of fever at the age of twenty-one in Umbria on January 24th, 1002.
In turn, the king nominated his cousin, Bruno of Carinthia. The Romans accepted Otto’s decision and elected Bruno as Pope Gregory V on May 3. Pope Gregory V.
