Kung Fu: The Legend Continues is an action/crime drama series and sequel to the original 1972–75 television series Kung Fu. While the original Kung Fu series was set in the American old west, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues was set in modern times.

Alicia Wright, a student in Kwai Chang Caine's kung fu class, has a problem. Her grandmother, with whom she has lived since the death of her parents, has stopped tending her rose garden, a garden, which was very precious and important to her.
After an evil priest, Tan (Ernest Abuba), destroys the temple, Caine and his young son, Peter (Nathaniel Moreau) each believe the other has perished. The two embark on very different paths - Caine wanders the Earth, while Peter (Chris Potter) is a cop.
