Oct 7, 2005 · The Penguins of Madagascar is an American CGI animated television series airing on Nickelodeon. It stars nine characters from the DreamWorks Animation animated film Madagascar: The penguins Skipper, Kowalski, Private, and Rico; the lemurs King Julien, Maurice, and Mort; and Mason and Phil the chimpanzees.
The penguins' dolphin nemesis, Dr. Blowhole, is out for revenge. After Blowhole takes King Julien hostage, Skipper and gang must rush to rescue their annoying neighbor and stop evil Dr. Blowhole before he destroys the planet.
The Penguins of Madagascar is a spin-off of the Madagascar films. The series follows the adventures of four penguins: Skipper, Kowalski, Private, and Rico, who perform various commando-like missions to protect their home in the Central Park Zoo.
While hunting the Red Squirrel across the globe, bird contacts the penguins with a warning that the squirrel has a brainwashed sleeper agent among them. They battle each other to a standstill to uncover the agent.

Marlene goes over to meet the newest zoo animal, and she mysteriously disappears. The penguins and lemurs attempt to rescue her, but they are taken, too. All except for Kowalski, the last penguin standing.
