Mister Ed is an American television sitcom produced by Filmways [1] that aired in syndication from January 5 to July 2, 1961, and then on CBS from October 1, 1961, to February 6, 1966. [2] The show's title character is a talking horse which originally appeared in short stories by Walter R. Brooks .
Mister Ed is a comedy family fantasy show that ran from 1961 to 1966. It features a palomino horse who only talks to his owner Wilbur Post, a architect, and causes him trouble with his wisecracks and mischief.

Mister Ed. Season 1. Architect Wilbur Post (Alan Young, The Time Machine) and his wife Carol (Connie Hines) move into a beautiful new home complete with a barn in the backyard. When Wilbur takes a look in his new barn, he finds that the former owner left his horse behind.
Mister Ed is suffering from feelings of rejection, so he moves to the beach to live with a group of outcast beatniks. Roger owns the beach property, and he wants to evict the whole lot of them.
