Jun 19, 2024 · After much speculation of whether or not it would ever happen, Lethal Weapon 5 appears to be a go. Here's what we know about this sequel.
Woot! An unstable policeman who recently lost his wife is paired with a by-the-book homicide detective to investigate a suicide that leads to an international crime ring.
I won't spoil the surprise; I'll just say the movie ends with one of the few genuinely unexpected surprises in any recent action film. The supporting cast is strong, and has to be, to stand out in the midst of mayhem. Gary Busey, slimmed down and bright of eye, makes an appropriately hateful killer.
