Mecha Builders. Mecha Builders (also known as Sesame Street: Mecha Builders) is an animated children's television series and a spin-off of Sesame Street that began production in May 2020. [ 1] The series is produced by Sesame Workshop and Guru Studio. [ 1][ 2] The project was announced in October 2019. [ 3]

is an animated Sesame Street spin-off. The series debuted on May 9, 2022 on Cartoon Network's Cartoonito which holds the broadcast television rights, with episodes released the following day on HBO Max for streaming. A special preview episode aired on April 30, 2022. A Roblox experience was released two days before.
This action-adventure series stars Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and Cookie Monster as robotic superheroes who save the day by using problem-solving skills. The show also features appearances by the Martians and a mecha version of Elmo's dog Tango.
The series was first announced in October 2019 and production started in May 2020. The animation was produced by Canadian animation studio Guru Studio.
A brief clip of an enlarged Mecha Cookie stomping through a city was shown in a Cartoon Network sizzle reel in February 2021 (YouTube). A social media post for New Years 2022 from Sesame Workshop revealed Elmo and Abby in the designs used on the series.
Less than six months after the show's 26th episode aired, a "Complete Series" DVD set was released on April 9, 2024.
The series began airing on the PBS Kids 24/7 Channel on May 13, 2024.
