    Tier 1

The Crisis is a medium robot with 4 heavy hardpoints.

Crisis' Ability is called Overpower. It increases the damage output of the robot by 10% for MK1 (15% for MK2 and 20% for MK3) for three seconds, while the ability is active, Crisis also has the Shieldbreaker effect.

The Crisis is a robot with an exceptionally high skill ceiling, as in hypothetically it could be one of the strongest robots in the game if piloted correctly. However, the bot is actually quite difficult to play and inexperienced commanders may fail to make it work. There are a variety of tactics to be used in the construction of a good Crisis strategy.

The first thing to note is that the Crisis is not very durable (Even Loki, which is a light robot, has more healthpoints than Crisis), relying almost exclusively on its stealth to stay alive. Because of this, being caught in the open when stealth is deactivated can result in destruction by enemy snipers, mid-rangers or brawlers depending on which range the Crisis is caught vulnerable. As such, finding cover should be a high priority. The Crisis' weapons are mounted on top, which gives it the ability to covershoot over appropriate cover.

it is self-explanatory that the Crisis is designed to be a sniper. So like the Behemoth, it is deadly on long-range maps such as Yamantau, Springfield and Canyon.

Even though the Crisis has unlimited stealth, it isn't very short, which means shorter or smaller robots such as Lynx can still damage Crisis in its stealth, provided they don't have lock-on weapons. Another thing is to avoid being at the same height at the enemy's weapons, since their blind fire can still hit the Crisis.

A good use of the Overpower ability is to get past absorber shields. This is especially useful against Fafnir, as while mid-air its defense system is deactivated, allowing you to inflict considerable amounts of damage in those precious three seconds.

Counterplay: The Crisis is exceptionally squishy without its passive stealth ability. As such, anything that allows stealth targeting (such as a bot with the quantum radar module) poses a massive threat to the Crisis and is indeed a viable counter. Furthermore, the Crisis' stealth does not make it invincible: if it is at the same height as your weapons (which may not be the same height as your bot) and within range, a Crisis can easily be hit by blind fire if your target reticle is aimed at it, allowing you to take it down without having to wait for it to reveal itself.

    Not Recommended
•The Crisis entirely functions on weapons that either take advantage of distance or can bring down targets before they do any serious damage while exposing itself. The Reaper, Prisma, Flux, Gauss and Trebuchet setups can easily take advantage of being out of range for most brawler and mid-range bots. Other examples are the Hammer, Devastator, Brisant, Puncher, Glacier and Exodus setups, which capitalize on the Crisis' stealth to get up close and take out a target within seconds. Therefore, weapons like the Talon are not recommended since they neither take advantage of distance nor can eliminate the target within a short period of time. Any setup that requires sustained fire for long periods of time while exposing Crisis are not ideal as that gives the enemy ample time to destroy it. •The use of Nashorns or Kang Daes. Even when maxed out, they deal little damage compared to laser weapons and railguns.

•Crisis is the second robot to have infinite stealth (the first one is Loki)

•Crisis is the third robot to carry four heavy weapons, the second to be able to fire them at the same time, and the first to do this without abilities.

•Crisis can be considered to be a much more powerful, albeit fragile combination of Behemoth and Loki.

•When equipped with Quantum Radar and mounted with Reapers, the Crisis becomes the first robot to be able to bypass every type of damage protection/mitigation system (when ability is active) with the exception of the Phase Shift effect, cover and physical shields.

  2. Mar 16, 2014 · So yes, there is most definitely a hostage situation at the core of Crisis, but it plays a lot better than on Hostages. At least it does so far, from the look and feel of this fun, twisting pilot ...

  3. The reason it works for Loki is because Loki can't kill you in those 1.5 seconds, a quad heavy slot Crisis can. Regaining 12% of its durability is also excessive, since all you have to do is fire once and regain stealth. With this, you can regain all of your health in under a minute. Crisis is all about playstyle when it comes to FFA.
