Freeware alebo frivér [1] je softvér, ktorý autor dáva za určitých podmienok k dispozícii na bezplatné používanie a prípadne aj na bezplatné šírenie, nedáva však k dispozícii zdrojový kód a neumožňuje tak jeho úpravu a vytváranie odvodených verzií.
