Jul 11, 2023 · The movie isn’t classically scary, but the Satan Man character has a creepy grinning mask and is a killer walking freely in the community while causing trouble on Halloween. He is a good horror villain because the viewer knows his true identity while all the movie characters are in the dark about this twisted killer.
- Michael Myers. From the people who Michael Myers kills to his silent evil nature, the villain who was called "The Shape" in the first movie is impossible to like.
- Sheriff Brackett. It's also hard to like Sheriff Brackett, who might want to keep the town of Haddonfield, Illinois safe, but who doesn't seem like he wants to worry much about Michael Myers, let alone take this threat seriously.
- Bob Simms. Lynda's boyfriend Bob appears briefly in Halloween, allowing the movie to tell a typical teenage story of two high schoolers who want to spend some time alone on Halloween evening.
- Dr. Sam Loomis. Dr. Loomis is a smart Halloween character as he's the person who truly knows what Michael can do and why he's so horrifying. Although Dr. Loomis is an expert, he's a gruff, cynical person who doesn't seem all that easy to like.
