Otto Everett Graham Jr. (December 6, 1921 – December 17, 2003) was an American professional football quarterback who played for the Cleveland Browns in the All-America Football Conference (AAFC) and National Football League (NFL) for 10 seasons.
When Paul Brown began organizing the Cleveland Browns team to play in the new All-America Football Conference (AAFC), the first player he signed was Otto Graham, a tailback from Northwestern University. Brown eyed Graham as the perfect quarterback for his new pro team.
Otto Graham was an American collegiate and professional gridiron football player and coach best remembered as the quarterback of the Cleveland Browns during a 10-year period in which they won 105 games, lost 17, and tied 5 in regular-season play and won 7 of 10 championship games.

Otto Graham in 1979 had cancer and overcame it. He became a lecturer on cancer detection methods. The title of his talk: "Check up before you give up." Graham was named to both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He died December 17, 2003, at age 82.
