The season stars Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Paul Schneider, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, and Chris Pratt . All of the members of the original principal cast were retained and Chris Pratt, who made guest appearances throughout the previous season, joined the permanent cast in the second season.
In season two, Leslie (Amy Poehler) states that Eagleton is "two towns over." However, later on, there is a "Pawnee/Eagleton border," meaning the towns are next to each other, some Pawnee citizens having left and settled Eagleton.
