The series follows an anthropomorphic orange who annoys fruits, vegetables and various other objects and even people and creatures by telling crude jokes and puns and making annoying noises until their demise. The Annoying Orange YouTube channel has 12.8 million subscribers as of 2024.
The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange is a TV series based off the web series. Dane Boedigheimer stated in 2010 that he was working with Tom Shepherd to make a pilot in December 2010 on the Partners Project. A TV series was later announced in April 2011.
