Ziggurath is a powerful dragon Boss entity in Dragon Blade RPG. He can only be found in Ziggurath's Lair. He is the dragon referred to by the lore that was given by Kitsuat the beginning of the game. When Ziggurath is flying, players must have some source of ranged firepower in order to attack him, preferably the Shardstone Ring, Improved Recurve B...
When in Ziggurath's Lair, the player must jump to the highest platform, which will prompt Ziggurath to spawn. This is only made possible by the Monster Wings and at least 4 rings of stamina. (or 1 & a quarter rings of staminawith a bit of skilful climbing)
When the player deals a certain amount of damage to Ziggurathwhile he is flying, he will briefly land on the terrain allowing players to melee him. Shortly afterwards, he will recover and continue flying.
Fireballs of Wrath: Ziggurath unleashes a volley of fireballs at where the player was last located at. If the player gets hit, they take quite a bit of damage, get flung and ragdolls after landing for 3 seconds. Note that armor has no effect on fireballs, as magic attacks ignore armor (only dragon armor protects you from Ziggurath at other magical ...
General Tips
1. Always be moving when attacking, as it is important for the player to dodge the Fireballs. 2. Take the chance when he is knocked out to perform the special attack of whatever strong melee weapon you have, such as the Dragon Blade. 3. You can hide behind pillars and terrain, where Ziggurath's fireballs get obstructed.
Bow / Ring + Dragon Blade
The typical strategy is to have both the Dragon Blade and a higher tier bow or the Shardstone Ring equipped. While on the terrain that Ziggurath flies around, keep moving and shooting arrows / summons at Ziggurath. Try to go near him so that you can pull out your melee weapon when he lands onto the terrain. When he drops onto the terrain, use the special ability from the Dragon Bladeto deal drastic damage. Repeat this process.
Shardstone Ring
The Shardstone Ring is very effective against Ziggurath. After Ziggurath spawns, keep moving around while using the space ability of the ring. Use your Shardstone Ring to dish out lots of damage to Ziggurath,(you will only need to fire this ability 3 times before Ziggurath gets knocked out for melee damage).
