Organizations that help prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless or that help those who have become homeless are always in need of your time and assistance. Volunteering your time to help is just as important as contributing financially and sharing food or a few dollars (or a smile!) with someone asking for help on the street.

Volunteers of America has supported and empowered homeless veterans, at-risk youth, the frail elderly, men and women. Either returning from prison, homeless individuals and families, people with disabilities, and those recovering from addictions.

We are happy to work with you to find the best activity to engage your group, whether it’s preparing meals at our Homeless Shelter, stocking shelves at our Hunger Resource Center or organizing products at our Thrift Shop. And we are always open to new ideas and suggestions.
