Also known as “Canadian Falls” since 90 percent of it lies on the Canadian side of the river, Horseshoe Falls is located between Terrapin Point on Goat Island and Table Rock in Canada. Height: 188 feet. Crestline: 2,200 feet. Flow: 90% of the river’s total flow makes its way over Horseshoe Falls.
The centerpiece of any visit here are the Horseshoe Falls. Named after their 670m curved shape, they have the highest flow rate of any waterfall in North America; at 65km/h, more than 2574 kiloliters of water per second crashes over the ridge into a roiling Maid of the Mist Pool.
