However, in 2012, he was diagnosed with osteoporosis and had to deal with a sleep disorder that affected his work on the set of the T.V. series Fringe. The sleep disorder combined insomnia and sleep apnea, which Noble had suffered for years.
John Noble (born 20 August 1948) is an Australian actor. He is best known for his roles as Denethor in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy (2001–2003), and Dr. Walter Bishop in the Fox science fiction series Fringe (2008–2013).
