Steve Carr was a luthier who apprenticed with Jimmy D'Aquisto. He was a traveling guitar tech as well and was probably best known for his work with Kiss. Steve designed and built the Gene Simmons axe bass and designed and built some of the more iconic Les Paul-style guitars for Ace Frehley.
