One my chief complaints about Zoosk (which are many) is that they have Members (free) and Subscribers (suckers who paid). But Zoosk claims there is no way to differentiate between the two, so you have no idea if your message can actually reach a Subscriber.

Mar 9, 2018 · Definitely not. Unlike other paid apps, Zoosk forces users to keep making micro-transactions to be able to do anything. You have to pay a subscription fee, but that only lets you send a few messages. You then have to buy more "Zoosk coins" if you want to send more messages.
