He was dropped for 2021, but then made a late surprise comeback just before the beginning of last season.
Mar 22, 2024 · Haas F1 Team hire Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg as their two full-time Formula 1 race drivers. Magnussen returned to the American squad ahead of the 2022 Bahrain GP to replace Nikita Mazepin. Haas had axed Magnussen after his initial spell from 2017 to 2020.
