Last night I watched "Mandy" with Nicolas Cage after hearing nothing but constant praise for it since it came out. Having finally seen it I'm dumbfounded that anyone could in good conscience give it a good review. It is by far the most excruciatingly boring movie I've ever seen.

Nic Cage is a 'chaotic good' character out to extinguish the evil that wronged him. He does shine in a few scenes, and he makes you laugh in some others. The cult serves its purpose but there is nothing unique about them.

Think of it as, the bastard lovechild of Ghajini and Mad Max.
